What did I get myself into?
Oh boy, now I’ve gone and done it. This is gonna have some interesting consequences. I have no idea whether I’ll survive it or not. I’m not even sure whether it was a good idea or not. It was a crazy one, that’s for sure, but only time will tell if it was a good one.
I’ve signed up for NaNoWriMo.
Yes, I’m going to attempt to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. I have a vague plotline in my head, which is a good thing, but whether I’ll be able to do it… well, that’s another matter. Fanfiction will most likely take a back burner while I participate, so I doubt you’ll see anything new that’s Narnia-related for a while. However, I will keep things updated on my NaNoWriMo progress as best as I can.
This is gonna be a bumpy ride… we’ll see what happens!
I’m Still Here!
Oy, it’s been a while… and I’ve only really done something on one piece in the meantime. I added yet another unexpected chapter to Your Servant is Calling, based on Psalm 12. And thanks to a friend of mine, I have a bunch of other possibilities for Psalmfics bouncing around in my head. I really think Psalmfics are getting to be my ’signature…’ not that that’s a bad thing.
Anyway, in other writing news, I got word back from my beta on the first section of chapter two of RoKM, which gave me some GREAT ideas for revamping it, and not only that, it’s made me rethink the plan for section two, so it’s probably a good thing I sent it to him. And as I beta for my beta, I’ve been trying to find the time to beta for him, which hasn’t been working very well… oy, this college thing is hard to get used to again. I WANT TO FIC! *sigh*
On a much lighter note, I’ve discovered several of my pieces have been nominated for the Lion Awards, the annual fanfiction awards held by The Lion’s Call! Whee! Exciting! Of course I have to wait until December for results, but just to know they’ve been nominated does my inner author good.
